Hi! I’m Sherri - welcome to my site! It’s a place where food, family, and tradition all come together. I have been cooking and baking since I’m 7 years old and there are a lot of recipes and food stories to share.
I crave the foods of my childhood, out of comfort and preservation but mostly out of desperation! In the Midwest, it is near impossible to find the many foods I enjoyed while growing up, and foods from other cultures I’ve adopted along the way, so I recreate them for everyone to enjoy.
